afresh
softly she tiptoes across the lawn
warm muffin hand snuggled in mine
off we go to watch the sunrise
and see the dawn get born
oh boy I think as I turn to dream
another re-run, my favorite one
wide-eyed she tastes the fresh new air
dips her piggies in the stream
why does it smell so different dad?
the trees gave a sigh and blinked
or was it a wink from sparkling dew
well you see darling… gone begad!
what about the breakfast I implore
when mel learned to drive our car
how she skated to me down the hill
the thrill, her fall, kissing her sore
cocks a crowing, time to give thanks
maybe I too will see what she saw
maranatha come quickly. Restore
shalom in a blink and yes thanks
for teaching me love all afresh
