Bitter Taste of Gullibility

He stares, while his lover
is being taken away
by another; one stronger
affluential with authority.

His lover unwillingly follows
would she be blamed
for being a victim?
And for being at the grace of another?

The he lover boils
can he attack an authoritarian man?
Not just that, but one in heat,
whom his lover is at his mercy?

He stares, stays, stands, desolate
like a man at the door
ready to say ‘Thanks’-
big THANKS, to the Heat-man.
