Distanced Yet Within your Range
Despite the distance your anger can
be detected. I can see the quivering
of the lip, as the words seep from your
closed mouth. I hear the words crash
against your now crushing teeth.
I hear the chomped- on nail fall onto
the polished floor. your nuerotic hypnotic
rant rebounds within the walls of my mind.
Then a silence falls, a lingering of a
wanted reaction, a reply to ignite the
flickering flame of your inpatient anger.
A worm dangling in suspended time,
awaiting for the bite of another battle.
I ready my words in the wisest of ways
and ask if you’re ok.
