I Want My Heart To Heal

Each time my tears end and my heart begins to heal you rip the wounds open again
I gave you the depths of my love and all I asked in return was yours
It took a long time for me to realize I want what I could never have
You can’t and won’t love me the same so I made up my mind no more tears no more pain
Life is passing us so fast I don’t intent to spend it hoping and wishing for what I’ll never have
It’s too late to take back my heart but not too late to from you part
I weep my last tears today for what if and can’t bes
I’m putting these tears away and if I ever cry over love again
It would be for someone who truly loves me and had grown out of weaken games
