as i’m falling
you don’t understand
why you couldn’t see
that i needed a helping hand
all i ever wanted
was to here the call
of the angel trying
to break my fall
and now i know
the angel was you
so now i’m falling
down to you
you stand there ready
to catch me now
and all i can do
is wonder how
how can you stand there
and try to save me
when it’s too late
for me to see
that you’re my angel
that cares for me
and now i know
i can finally be free
