My Angel
As the eyes of an angel
Stare at me with devotion
And all in an instant
I am lost in the notion
Of you being mine
As the lips of an angel
Come closer to me
I stand there in silence
I now understand you hold the key
To my heart, to my happiness
As of now you are my angel
My love will never end
I know you will protect me
You also are my best friend
A soul that could not be replaced
You will always be my angel
As you call out my name
Knowing I’ll be there to save you
And I needed you, you came
Together, though joy and through pain
As the eyes of an angel
Still stare back at me
I know now and forever
That you will always be
