my sister

My sister was the greatest friend I wished I could keep,
She was always there for me but now it’s a leap,
I would like to tell you now,
How my sister would take a bow
To see me write this poem now,
But still I hope to try my best to give her,
All the same unconditional love that she had,
Given me,
Throughout the years of our lives
I don’t know what I would have done without
Her
After all, every girl needs a best friend,
A confidant,
And someone that they can count on
I just wish we could have stayed the same
But she grew up and thought I was lame
My feelings that did hurt
But through all that she did do
I love her all the same
I just couldn’t be without my best friend
The greatest sister she had became.
