Radical Marriage

Say ‘I do’ even without a witness
and your hearts are married.
A wedding does not exclusively
make a marriage.
The wedding is not even
the marriage’s beginning.

Remember the symbol of your love?
The ring? You can call it love ring
not a wedding ring.
It’s round.
Your love goes round and round.
Look for the end,
look for the beginning.
They’re not found there.

You have love,
and that is all that matters.
It’s in your hearts.
It’s found there.
