Skinned knees
Aching bellies
An Ankle sprain;
Mother, your one kiss was enough

Mother gets up early to prepare breakfast
for me and the family.
Mother is as faithful
as the sun.
Mother feeds me
with rice, eggs, fish or chicken, fruits and coffee.

her youngest son.
The most important meal of the day
is prepared by the most important woman in the world.
To me, that’s a happy fact.

Is thunder really mother nature?
Or God bellowing His fury at those that still reject His Son?

Or God giving a presentation for those, who must “see to believe, ” that their lack of faith will result [...]

What woman, with pain coursing through her labouring body,
Inhaled and exhaled in horror…knowing that death was closer than
The Priest?
What mother remembered the knife that gave her infant daughter
Life…
Then cursed her daughter-ravaged body…cursed her blood.
Mother. Mother, was this woman you?
Mother. Mother, rosary-seeking your way to God.
