a little boy yelled out

Their teacher gave them an assignment
they had to write about what they wanted to be
and whoevers paper was the best
they would invite their idol for everyone to see

I met a traveller a teacher he said….
Raised by a carpenter in place called Galilee
He told his lessons were all about life
About freedom from the endless troubles and strife.
That living in this world he surley present a way
to teach us to ‘Love’ was his mager intent.

Oops! I made a mistake,

My friends threw something on my face which was a cake,

I ate an ice-cream,
and then went home to my mom.

No pass, I just left my locker.

Bored out of my mind.
Sitting alone,
Listening slightly to the teacher.

The annoying jerk that was sitting next to me has suddenly turned into this beautiful girl.
She is quiet.
She seems shy.
Her face looks as delicate as that of a porcelain doll as she listens intently to the teacher’s lesson.

Stopping by a 24-hour Bible-reading marathon,
I had to leave when the verses from Proverbs
begain railing against prostitutes.
I like prostitutes. I am one-a math teacher.
Do not judge us. Not everyone can control the

I don’t fix houses,
Or make blouses.
I’m not good at making music
Nor do I take pictures.
I’m just an old retired teacher,

of my classroom.
