The Pitchers Sphere
Stretched white leather
stitched in red,
the perfect sphere
to pitch ahead.
In a hand
it is placed,
for the challenge
to be faced.
Before said sphere
leaves the mound,
concentration
must be found.
Take your time
concentrate,
release to fly
over plate.
With perfect aim
and velocity,
you’ll soon hear
what is strike three.
Batter swung
but much too late,
another out
to celebrate.
There’s nothing better
than to experience this all,
with that perfect sphere
the baseball.
